01 An immersive travelling exhibition

BECOMING

Before we had names,
we were simply human.

A shared journey through identity, belonging and the stories that shape who we become.

Who were you before the world told you who to be?

BECOMING explores the layers that shape who we are. Through story, poetry, art, sound and space, it asks us to see ourselves in one another.

It is not an exhibition to simply observe. Visitors move through emotional chapters, recognise themselves in other lives and leave part of their own story behind.

We all come into the world without names.

We become through love, language and belonging.

A profile made from flowing rainbow-coloured lines

In a world of labels, we need spaces without them.

BECOMING creates a pause between the identities we inherit and the humanity we share.

01

Identity arrives early

Names, roles and expectations can be inherited before they are understood.

02

Belonging feels fragile

Connection is constant, yet many people still feel unseen and alone.

03

Stories restore empathy

Encountering another life can shift perspective more deeply than debate.

04

Culture creates common ground

Private reflection becomes a shared public experience.

Nine acts.
One human story.

Visitors do not move through galleries. They move from innocence before names to the freedom and responsibility of becoming.

Observe

BECOMING begins with attention: slowing down enough to notice what is present, what is missing and what the body understands before language.
